Upper Lehman Creek Campground - Great Basin National Park
The Upper Lehman Creek Campground is a great place to go camping.
I stayed here for a couple of nights to acclimate to the higher elevation before heading out on the Bristlecone/Rock Glacier hike.
It would also be great if you plan on hiking any of the high alpine trails, like the summit trail to the top of Wheeler Peak.
I'm sure glad I did; I still had to take breaks being from a low elevation!
The campground also has the Lehman Creek Trail trailhead at the back of the campground that goes all the way up to Wheeler Peak Campground.

We use Permethrin Spray on our clothes before our park trips. Please read my article on preventing biting insects while enjoying the outdoors.
