Sheep Pass Group Campground is one of three group campgrounds in Joshua Tree National Park. You can make reservations up to one year in advance for one of the six sites in the campground. There is no water in the campground so you will need to bring more than enough. You will also need to bring firewood with you. There is no collecting of firewood in the campground.
There are pit toilets located near the group sites. There are multiple hiking trails near the campground.

How to get to Sheep Pass Campground
Take Interstate 10 to Route 62. From the town of Joshua Tree turn south on Park Blvd. and continue through the West Entrance.
The campground is 13 miles from the entrance station and the city of Twentynine Palms.

All organized events require a special use permit and must be held in designated areas; call 760-367-5518 for more information.
Visitors may only reserve 3 group sites for a specific date.
There is no overflow parking and not all campsites accommodate 2 vehicles.
There are no electric, water or sewer hook-ups available at individual campsites
