Cedar Bluff Campground is located on Bass Lake in central California near the town of Oakhurst. This very popular camping destination was made famous by the 1980's film "The Great Outdoors" starring Dan Ackroyd and John Candy.
Today visitors come and enjoy all that Bass Lake offers including fishing, water skiing, boating, swimming, and hiking. If that's not enough, there are several events around Bass Lake and Oakhurst, and Yosemite National Park.
Cedar Bluff Campground - Bass Lake California
The Cedar Bluff Campground is managed by California Land Management through the US Forest Service. This campground has quite a bit of sunshine so make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. The area is surrounded by pine, oak, and cedar trees and the lower loops have nice views of Bass Lake. Campers can also find several day-use areas around the lake to enjoy.
Some people call this campground the Lupine Cedar Bluff Campground but in reality, there are two different campgrounds Lupine Campground (single-family campsites) and Cedar Bluff (Group sites).
Number of Sites: The sites in this campground include 11 Doubles, 7 Quads
Location in the park: From Highway 41, take Bass Lake turnoff (Road 222), head southeast approximately 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake CLM office. Continue approximately 2.75 miles to the Lupine Cedar Bluff Campground.
Campsite Cost: $70.27/ per night - Double Site
Sierra Recreation will be adding a $10 additional vehicle fee per day on the second vehicle in each single-family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site.
During holidays fees increase by $8 per site.

Camping / Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Fire pit in the site? Yes, however, fire danger can be high due to hot dry weather conditions. During the summer time campfires and charcoal fires can be banned for fire safety reasons. Always check at the Bass Lake campground office, or the Bass Lake Ranger District before having wood or charcoal fires.

The maximum number of people in a campsite: Single Family Campsites can have a maximum of 6 people per campsite, double sites can have a maximum of 12 people per site and Quads can have a maximum of 24 people per campsite.
The number of cars per campsite: 1 vehicle in single sites, 2 vehicles in doubles, and 4 vehicles in quads.
